As I was wrapping presents Aden wanders in to see what I am doing. I explain that I am wrapping gifts for people I love. He looks at me and I see the wheels turning that he didn't have any gifts to wrap. A few moments later he comes back and asks me if I want a ring or a necklace? Thinking to myself he is working in cahoots with his dad I answer ring. He leaves and a few moments later he comes back with a decorated box which he has wrapped. He asks me to open and inside he has placed my engagement ring. I told him it was exactly what I wanted and it was just my size. He then runs back and brings back another wrapped box with my diamond earrings. Once again exactly what I wanted and he didn't spend a dime or have to wade through the crowds at the mall to give me the best gift of all.

5 3/4 birthdays are the best
It only took us 10 months to make this party happen but it was a goodie. The bounce house was delivered early so we had it to our self for an extra day. All our friends came. The boys received multiple sets of Legos and so starts my life where I spend hours sorting, assembling, stepping, and cleaning these plastic pieces of childhood gold.

K Update
The first weeks of school have past. Aron on his second day discovered the joys of cafeteria food and lied to his his teacher that he didn't have a lunch so he could go through the line on credit. Aden had a hard time adjusting to the routine of eating and recess with 100 kids. We had to encourage him with promises of a Power Wheels police car to get him to stop crying at school.

Carpe Diem
The first day of kindergarten and the boys were excited. Aron walked himself into class, hands on hips, ready to cease the day. Aden was a little stressed but recovered when we he realized he would be picked up early.

Cascarones + Cruises
April was an exciting month. We went up to Austin for our annual cascarones Easter battle with our cousins. This year we brought two trash bags full of egg ammunition, and Grandad and Aunt Eden to help deliver the attack.
We rounded out the month with our family cruise to Mexico. The boys are really starting to get the hang of the cruising lifestyle. Daily routine soon became Lucky Charms with chocolate milk for breakfast; ride water slide until tired; move to people watching from the hot tub; eat pizza and ice cream for lunch; hit the arcade; eat hot dog and ice cream for dinner; watch a live stage performance at Rome Lounge; take in a movie; order room service; go to sleep; repeat. Needless to say by the end of the cruise they were asking how they could acquire a job so they could stay on board.
