Minus One

Aron lost his first tooth and we all missed it! We had no idea it was gone until we came home from tee ball practice. When we realized it was missing he told us that the tooth came out while he was running the bases and he spit it out. It was such a manly proclamation. Fortunately mommy was prepared with a tooth pillow but the pirate had to stay downstairs since the boys were scared of fairies flying around their room. The Tooth Fairy was nice enough to leave him a gold doubloon with the pirate and also left money on the baseball field where she found the tooth.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

The boys had their first tee ball game today. They played well both scoring a run helping their team to a 15-5ish victory. After the game we celebrated by having frozen yogurt with all the toppings.

Our first science project, in kindergarten!  Aron and Daddy worked hard on this one and it turned out great.

Supa Bowl 2014

The boys accompanied Mommy and Daddy to their second Super Bowl party.  They had been dying to go back to Phil's house (Daddy's friend) since the last party to play with Daddy's silly friends and Phil's sweet weiner dog named Lasso.  We had a blast playing Pac-Man, Frogger, and Smash TV on Phil's restored arcade consoles.  We also briefly acted as ball boys for a cut-throat game of beer pong; that signaled it was time to go.  They can't wait to come back...

He's the Man

Aron and Mommy wrote this little ditty one night while cuddling on the couch...

"The Aron Patton Song"
(to the tune of Frère Jacques)

Aron Patton, Aron Patton,
He's the man, he's the man.
Big winner,
Chicken dinner.

Snow Day

A cold front came through and iced the roadways, but it was perfect weather for the neighborhood man-made snow day.
