Cascarones + Cruises
April was an exciting month. We went up to Austin for our annual cascarones Easter battle with our cousins. This year we brought two trash bags full of egg ammunition, and Grandad and Aunt Eden to help deliver the attack.
We rounded out the month with our family cruise to Mexico. The boys are really starting to get the hang of the cruising lifestyle. Daily routine soon became Lucky Charms with chocolate milk for breakfast; ride water slide until tired; move to people watching from the hot tub; eat pizza and ice cream for lunch; hit the arcade; eat hot dog and ice cream for dinner; watch a live stage performance at Rome Lounge; take in a movie; order room service; go to sleep; repeat. Needless to say by the end of the cruise they were asking how they could acquire a job so they could stay on board.

The Tooth Whisperer
After missing the first lost tooth I was sure not to miss the next one. To the point of annoyance I asked Aron everyday to let me wiggle the tooth. Finally he got fed up and said, "Mom, you can't wiggle it any more. It is coming out on the 16th." It was such a profound prediction. Today April 16th the tooth came out hence the name Tooth Whisperer.

Minus One
Aron lost his first tooth and we all missed it! We had no idea it was gone until we came home from tee ball practice. When we realized it was missing he told us that the tooth came out while he was running the bases and he spit it out. It was such a manly proclamation. Fortunately mommy was prepared with a tooth pillow but the pirate had to stay downstairs since the boys were scared of fairies flying around their room. The Tooth Fairy was nice enough to leave him a gold doubloon with the pirate and also left money on the baseball field where she found the tooth.
