Boy Cave

The boy's decided they needed their own garage and right fully so since they own the most vehicles. We invited Grandad over to spend his birthday weekend building a boy cave. The final product has a gun port, door bell and fold down ramp to drive in their cars. Aden helped with the build and Aron gave design input. Phase 3 has already been discussed as adding a sun deck.

Ferris coaster

The weather was so beautiful today. We went the zoo and practiced riding our bikes without training wheels.

Monster Jam

To celebrate their birthday we took the boys and their best friends, Chris & Alex, to see the monster trucks. Aden's eyes were as wide as saucers as he watched. The concensus was that the crashing was their favorite part.

Forks are just a suggestion

The boys went face first into turning 6. 

The best gifts are free

As I was wrapping presents Aden wanders in to see what I am doing. I explain that I am wrapping gifts for people I love. He looks at me and I see the wheels turning that he didn't have any gifts to wrap. A few moments later he comes back and asks me if I want a ring or a necklace? Thinking to myself he is working in cahoots with his dad I answer ring. He leaves and a few moments later he comes back with a decorated box which he has wrapped. He asks me to open and inside he has placed my engagement ring.  I told him it was exactly what I wanted and it was just my size. He then runs back and brings back another wrapped box with my diamond earrings. Once again exactly what I wanted and he didn't spend a dime or have to wade through the crowds at the mall to give me the best gift of all.
