Future Baron of e-Commerce
This randomly showed up in the mail at my office. Coincidentally, later that same day,
Aden asks Mommy, "Did my package come?"
Mommy says, "What package?"
Aden says, "My Jurassic World Lego."
Later, after Daddy asked Mommy about a random Nintendo DS cartridge showing up, it all suddenly made weird sense.
He was sooooo excited, especially given he has no Nintendo DS to play it on.
We still can't figure out how he ordered it, or how it was paid for.

Worker Guys
The boys enjoyed a roadtrip (just the dudes) to go visit the construction site for Daddy's building at Texas A&M in College Station.
We got to meet all the worker guys there, plus a personal tour from the construction company's project manager, complete with opportunities to sit in equipment.
Afterward we had a manly lunch of brisket, ribs, and cheese at Kreuz BBQ in Bryan.
Long naps on the car ride home marked a successful roadie.

We even got to keep a hardhat and safety glasses.

Father's Day haircuts
It seemed a good idea at first but when I saw the chip clips Alex was planning to use as hair clips I knew it was going to be blog worthy. The boys had been advocating for a mohawk and to be bald since picture day at school, but I told them they had to wait for summer. Aron found a picture of JJ Watt (Texan football) that was his inspiration. Aden just wanted to be as low maintenance as possible in attempt to streamline his morning routine.
The haircuts took both Alex and I, and we were all in tears by the end; it was such a disaster, but with all the squirming, crying, and cursing they actually turned out like the picture.
