Final chorus
'All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth.'
Aden finally lost his second front tooth eating a piece of chocolate. I am going to miss these teeth. I remember he had just gotten them in when he chipped them on the edge of the bathtub. It was my first panicked call to the pediatric dentist, but surely not my last.

Profound Thoughts by Aron
While driving to the store.
"Mommy, sometimes I have flashbacks of when I was born. When I come out of your tummy there is a bright light but then everything is black and white. I see Daddy smiling and you are sleeping. Then when I am in my breather tank I see people over me and I like to follow their eyes."

One more grey hair
I had just about convinced myself that Aron had been abducted by aliens from his bed as I frantically searched the house (and yard) for a once sleeping child. On the brink of vomit and panic I hear the sweet sound of soft snores under my bed.

Halloween
The boys and I flew to Pheonix for the weekend in search of fun and treats (rumor has it that candy tastes better in AZ, must be the dry air). We spent the weekend with Aunt Eden and scored a pillowcase of candy, won a trash bag full of stuffed animals from the State Fair and hiked mountains everyday. Aden had such heartburn about leaving that his first morning home he cried all the way to school telling me he wanted to go back and have Eden adopt him. He got Aron just as worked up because for Eden to adopt him mommy and daddy would be dead. Both of them were crying in their Cheerios at breakfast. I was so tired from the weekend, I wanted to cry. It was quite the buzz kill from a high energy weekend.
